About Robin

Co-owner and President of Pro Payne Graphics, Inc. since 1994, Robin received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (Communication Arts and Design) from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1983.

Robin started her professional career at Pulsecom, a Division of Harvey Hubbell Inc. in Herndon, VA. At Pulsecom, Robin honed the pre-computer graphics skills of typesetting, design, paste-up, photography and learned about the printing process.

After Pulsecom, Robin went to Great, Inc. in Alexandria, VA where she worked as a production artist and designer on a wide variety of visual media such as ads, brochures, logos and slide shows.

From Great, Robin became a senior designer/art director at one of the premiere annual report firms In Washington, DC, Invisions, Ltd. For clients such as Marriott, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Riggs Bank Robin designed and produced corporate communication materials including annual reports, identity systems, newsletters, posters, ads and brochures.

Robin left Invisions to return to Richmond where she worked as an art director at Franklin Street Communications. At Franklin Street, Robin managed large accounts including Danville Regional Medical Center, United Dominion Realty Trust and the Medical College of Virginia. She designed brand identities, image brochures, patient handbooks, newspaper ads, outdoor boards, physician recruitment packages, etc.

Robin then joined her husband at Pro Payne Graphics, Inc., where she has put her extensive advertising and marketing communications experience into play producing award winning work.
